Anthony Orisses started the lifestyle brand RARE CUT in the middle of COVID, when remote work was decimating apparel sales. Using an entrepreneurial mindset, Anthony quickly surpassed $50,000 in sales within the first 30 days of going-live.
We’ll learn the secrets behind his launch, his commitment to local craftsmanship, and what’s next as the world goes back to in-office work and live events.
We'll also hear from the CEO of Arka, Phil Akhzar, on how brands can leverage branded and unbranded eco-friendly packaging solutions to drive loyalty and post-holiday retention.
Founder of RARE CUT
Anthony Orisses is the Founder of RARE CUT, a lifestyle brand based out of Queens, NY. Their flagship product is a patent pending pocket square infused with memory metal that holds any fold so "It Stays Up" all day, all night. No need for readjusting or refolding.
Anthony’s goal for starting RARE CUT was not just to have a business with a product but rather a brand with a purpose. He set out a mission to help uplift people and his community. They recently ran a "Shop Local" collection, shared the stories of local business owners and donated a portion of the proceeds to the “Barstool Fund”. More recently they ran a "Breast Cancer Awareness" campaign and donated a portion of the proceeds to the “Avon Foundation” to help improve the lives of women and their families going through this journey.
Anthony is a proud second-generation Greek American. He loves all things related to self development, reading, exercising, and spending time with his family and loved ones.
Founder of ARKA
Phillip Akhzar is the Founder and CEO of Arka with over a decade’s experience in packaging. Phil is a San Francisco native and attended Cal Poly SLO as an Industrial Engineer before graduating from both Y Combinator W15 and 500 Startups Batch 16.

RARE CUT is a lifestyle brand based out of Queens, NY. Our flagship product is our patent pending pocket square infused with memory metal that holds any fold so "It Stays Up" all day, all night. No need for readjusting or refolding as you wear it. We've also released limited edition t-shirts and pocket squares in our mission of helping uplift people and our community. Earlier this year we ran a "Shop Local" collection, shared the stories of local business owners, and donated a portion of the proceeds to the "Barstool Fund". In October, we launched our "Breast Cancer Awareness" campaign and donated a portion of the proceeds to the "Avon Foundation" to help improve the lives of women and their families going through this journey.
